About
Melissa Davis
Melissa Davis is a lifelong artist and yoga teacher whose work captures a deep gratitude for life, inspired by faith, family, and the everyday beauty of the Gulf Coast.
Rooted in Gratitude, Driven by Creation
Melissa Davis is a woman who is fierce when it comes to her faith, her family, her friends, and her community of almost four decades. A creator and artist since she was a child, Melissa focuses on building a life rooted in appreciation for this beautiful gift called life, and her art reflects that.
Melissa draws inspiration from daily trips to see the aqua waters of the Gulf of Mexico with her dog, fresh food, the laughter of her two grandchildren, and travel. She follows the motto: "if gratitude is the only prayer, it shall suffice".
At sixty, Melissa is strong and comfortable in her own skin. She works to continue learning, growing, playing, and evolving. When she is not creating art, Melissa can be found teaching yoga locally, as she has been for over twenty years. "I am not nearly finished with this life. In many ways, I feel like I am just beginning and have so much to give." - Melissa Davis
